Martini’ s Fitness and Zumba Classes, South Jersey.

I had a blast today my dear friend. Back to back classes, like old times. Liam simmered down and  became the little boy I know and love so 10 years later. See our children have grown up in gyms/movement babysitting spaces. But, you have a precious young man at eleven years as he listened or overhead every conversation. Did you notice Martini?  I watched him lay right beside you while you taught.  That is oh so special.

Now, it is time to spread your wings and fly.  You can soar to great heights. Let yourself go. You got to go girl. You met John and the spaces in my gym, they are so beautiful.  The people who work there are people persons which is very rare.  The members are totally awesome.  Come to my gym and take control, it is there.  Go and run with it.  It is really a special place.  Did you hear that sound system in the spin room?  That is my space.  I showed you my bike.  Please, teach there so I can have my Martini back . That is why I came to take your Zumba and fitness class last night.  You have a gift. Now it is cultivated.   Use it to the fullest extent. I forgot how awesome your workout classes are. Always inspired with that Irish flare. I envision you in Philadelphia, Yes, in the gym in the sky.Yes, the sky is the limit. You are awesome.  As once again, God has blessed me. Thank you Dear Jesus.

Martini, you must remember I am a classically trained dancer from Temple University.  Remember I have taken you to my teachers that have influenced my dance training in Philly, Melissa and Rex.  I have studied  dance and used gyms the past 50 years in New York City, Philly, Ottawa, Montreal, Boston, New Orleans,  Las Vegas  Los Angelos, Cocoa Beach and  Bermuda. Always cross trained to make myself a stronger dancer. Ballet, Modern, and Jazz are my life’s passion. Plus Tap was my first art form. But I can do any form of movement. I discover new and innovative teachers, then I share!
That is who I am. I have been a teacher all my life but being a student, is much better! Because you learn again.  Life is a continuous  learning experience. I will never stop absorbing or acquiring knowledge.
All my love,  Donna

MLB Philadelphia Phillies Pull Out Win 5-4 Against First Place Atlanta Braves, July 5, 2013.

My cousin Marjorie (another die-hard Phillies Fan) and I decided to do a mental health break and attend a Phillies game.  It was an unbelievable event as Howard took one deep when we were walking late into the Citizen’s Bank. Score was 5-0 in 5th. Then, the Braves started creeping back in the 7th as Lee was having a meltdown. 5-4, Oh no, as Marjorie and I started yelling to the field to our beloved Phillies. Papelbon ( the matador, For Whom the Bell Tolls) and Chooch came in  the 9th and closed down the first place chop chop tomahawk, Atlanta Braves.  ( I always despised that chant)

Praise the Lord for little things in life.

Hope still lies in the Phiilies as they have a long home stand before the All Star Break July 16, 2013 ( BTW, that day is my Birthday)

Excellent seats, great time.  Then we headed to Xfinity Live for Chickie and Pete’s famous Crab Fries.

Below are some photos from the game. Everyone likes their picture taken. ( even the Mets fan sitting with the girl next to us.  He was rooting for the Braves because he hates the Phils. But that was OK. )

All was well at the Ballpark last night.  The Girls (women) didn’t have their children with them. We could yell, yell and yell some more.  They tend to sublimate our limitless amount of energy.

Lee, Phils pick up crucial win over first-place Braves

Sidewalks Chalk 1st Anniversary, July 5, 2013.

I believe I was brainstorming that morning for a name. Sidewalk chalk was taken so I went with the plural.  I remember as a child I used to chalk the streets of Philadelphia with color, to play hopscotch or just write anything (cursive) on the concrete pavement and streets.

I remember marking my name, Donna in the 1960’s.  But when the rain came it washed the chalk  away.

Also, the endless pairs of sneakers that hung on the wires of the Streets of Philadelphia.  Yes, I had a pair of white canvas Chuck Taylor’s on a corner somewhere.

How I came up with the name Spellbound84, it was the launch of my Professional Dance Career.  A Dick Foster Production, Spellbound in 1984, Glen Mills PA, Encore Dinner Theater, Pulsations Nightclub Complex.

Remember every picture tells a story.

Thank you Jordan for helping me with the development of my blog.

Also, Muse for constant words of encouragement.

God has blessed my blog.

.

Blessings : ).

When life knocks you down, roll over and look at the stars! <3

93.3 WMMR  Trivia, Name 5 Rock Bands With Colors In Their Names.

I was walking by Independence Mall Today. The 4th of July festivities have begun in Philadelphia, PA.  The first capital of the USA, if you forgot.

How do I get one of those T-shirts? Black Crows, Black Keys, Blue Oyster Cult, Pink Floyd, and Simply Red.

I was the first winner of the day. Yes, 93.3 WMMR Rocks.

Do you know what the logo in the middle of the T-shirt is? I knew right away.

Then I stumble upon synchronicity of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark side of the Moon’  Wow.
