Our Giving Of Thanks: Psalm 100:4

Psalm 100:4

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his courts with praise!
    Give thanks to him; bless his name!

Praise and thanksgiving must be an integral part of everyone’s life. It must not be dependent upon the songs and encouragement of others, but an expression of the joy that is felt as a result of the goodness of the Lord. God’s children are to enter into His gates with a praise. They must be ready to offer thanks.

Glory be to the Holy Spirit, Who has sanctified me in the sacrament of Baptism, and continues to sanctify me by the graces I receive daily from His bounty. Almighty and merciful God, Who has commissioned  Thy Angels to guide and protect us, command them to be our assiduous companions from our setting out until our return; to wrap us with their invisible protection; to keep from us all danger, of disease, of sickness, of falls and bruises; and finally, having preserved us from of all evil, and especially from sin, to guide us to our heavenly home. Through Jesus Christ our Lord.  In this I pray,

What is Faith?

 It is responding to the Lord’s instructions regardless of what one might see or feel. It is trusting God to the extent obedience is the only option. Put your faith to work; obey God.
