Adversity & Faith: Luke 18:29-30

Luke 18:29-30

29 And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, 30 who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the age to come eternal life.”

The sacrifices you make to follow the Lord may seem quite great at times, even causing you to question yourself. Be assured that the Lord has promised that you will not be disappointed. His blessings will flow into your life both now and in the world to come.

Father of Divine Providence, Patron Saint of Job-Seekers & the Unemployed

Matthew 23:3-4

“All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do,
but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.””For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne,
and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves
will not lift a finger to help them”

Prayer to St Cajetan

Glorious Saint Cajetan, acclaimed by
all people to be the father of

Providence, you provide miraculous aid to

all in need, I stand here before you today,
asking that you present to the Lord our God
the requests that I confidently deposit
in your hands today.
May these graces that I now request
help me to always seek the Kingdom
of God and his Righteousness,
knowing that God — who dresses with
beauty the flowers of the field and
abundantly feeds the birds of the
sky — will give me all other

things.
in this I pray, Amen
Oh St. Cajetan, whose inspiration has been a light for multitudes of unemployed, bless our hearts with the light of Christ so that we may be a beacon for others and hold Him in our bosom as you also did. We implore thee for special grace to endure our most troublesome time and not forget the poor in spirit and consequence. Please be by our side and guide us in the will of the Lord.
in this I pray, Amen

A Guardian Angel Prayer for Friends

Guardian Angel,
watch over those whose names you can read in my heart.
Guard over them with every care
and make their way easy and their labors fruitful.
Dry their tears if they weep;
sanctify their joys;
raise their courage if they weaken;
restore their hope if they lose heart,
their health if they be ill,
repentance if they fail.

In this I pray

Amen

God Will Meet Your Every Need When Appears Impossible Exodus 16:21.

Exodus 16:21

21 Morning by morning they gathered it, each as much as he could eat; but when the sun grew hot, it melted.

There will be seasons in your life when you are in a waiting stage. The promise has been made but you must travel through a wilderness period. It is, while you wait, that God will prove Himself a provider. Though you will not see how, the Lord will meet your daily needs.  Rejoice, as you appreciate the manna blessing.

God’s Ability To Fulfill His Will : Luke 1:34-35

Luke 1:34-35

34 And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?”[a]

35 And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born[b] will be called holy—the Son of God

When Mary received word from Gabriel that she was going to have a son, she was totally confused. How could this be? I have never been with a man was her response. Gabriel explained that though it was impossible it would happen through the power of the Holy Spirit. With God the impossible becomes possible.

As you await the fulfillment of God’s promises in your life, you will face obstacles that appear to be insurmountable. As you give thought to the how, remind yourself God has no limits. Through His spirit the impossible becomes possible. The promise will be fulfilled

All Souls’ Day, November 2, Pray for the Dead

2 Maccabees 12:44-45

44 For had he not expected the fallen to rise again, it would have been superfluous and foolish to pray for the dead,

45 whereas if he had in view the splendid recompense reserved for those who make a pious end, the thought was holy and devout. Hence, he had this expiatory sacrifice offered for the dead, so that they might be released from their sin.

Roman Martyrology

“On this day is observed the commemoration of the faithful departed, in which our common and pious Mother the Church, immediately after having endeavored to celebrate by worthy praise all her children who already rejoice in heaven, strives to aid by her powerful intercession with Christ, her Lord and Spouse, all those who still groan in purgatory, so that they may join as soon as possible the inhabitants of the heavenly city.”

U.S. and World Population Clock.

Thought it was an interesting website today. One Birth every 8 seconds.  One death every 13 seconds in the U.S.  But it always leads me back to Bible Scripture in research.

U.S. and World Population Clock

Matthew 28:19-20

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age

Isaiah 1:5-11, Exodus 31:1-5, Revelation 19:20 : Worship Of False Gods.

Isaiah 1:5-11

Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but bruises and sores and raw wounds; they are not pressed out or bound up or softened with oil. Your country lies desolate; your cities are burned with fire; in your very presence foreigners devour your land; it is desolate, as overthrown by foreigners. And the daughter of Zion is left like a booth in a vineyard, like a lodge in a cucumber field, like a besieged city. If the Lord of hosts had not left us a few survivors, we should have been like Sodom, and become like Gomorrah.

Exodus 31:1-5

31 The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.

Revelation 19:20

And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.
