My favorite women’s gymnastics. it is on many channels. beside NBC.
I love to watch them. They are surely a talented bunch!
Michael Phelps boosts swimming even as he has less left to give
You got the feeling Michael Phelps didn’t really want to be in this water-gunfight. It was only the first swimming event of the London Olympics, but he swam like it was the last. Like he has swum it one too many times. Like he was swimming out of obligation, rather than inspiration. Let’s be honest: Phelps has already given his best. Now he’s giving what’s left.

He just could be tired of it all. Or he just may be physically unable to keep up the pace of these athletes. He makes me proud of my country.
The USA Fencing Mask Is Awesome And Intimidating, And Awesome
Oh, so you want to wave a pointy sword in my face? Be careful. I’M AMERICA.”
Badass. I wish they forced every athlete to wear these things. Ping pong just finished up on NBC Sports Network, and American player Timothy Wang got crushed, four games to zip. Clearly his North Korean opponent wasn’t adequately intimidated. SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT OUT THE MASK.
Seriously though, there’s no greater patriotic salute than wearing America on your face.
Clearly, the next step is naked athletes painted in red, white and blue to replace uniforms. We know American volleyballers wouldn’t have a problem.

Your right the face masks are neat. Pride! I want NBC to publicly apologize for cutting out the 7/7 tribute. Why don’t they show it now!
If you can locate the video place it up.
They took all the ones down of the opening ceremony.
piss me off 😦
I guess it is just another hack job by NBC. Why are we getting only some news? Who is telling them not to show this? I hate NBC!!
“Veggie” diet blamed for poor performance of China’s women volleyball team
Fearing tainted meat, China’s women’s volleyball team has stuck to a strict vegetarian diet for the last three weeks, which the team’s coach is now blaming for his athletes’ abysmal performance.
The Chinese team lost four of five matches at a world tournament that ended Sunday in Ningbo, China, falling to the United States, Brazil, Turkey and Thailand.
“They have showed significant decline in their strength and fitness” coach Yu Juemin said of his squad after Sunday’s defeat to the US. “We are wary of meat tainted by lean-meat powder, and we didn’t eat any during the game period,” Yu told the Shanghai Daily newspaper.

Why in God’s name has to be done to producers of our food so they don’t harm us? I don’t pay for anything but my meat, don’t add crap to it. This makes me boil.
Oh NO She was suppose to win it all -( ( Not on TV until tonight)
The reigning world champion Jordyn Wieber left the Olympic gymnastics arena in tears on Sunday after failing to qualify for the finals of the all-around competition.
“Wieber, 17, of DeWitt, Mich., was long considered one of the favorites to win the gold medal in the sport’s glamour event. . . .
“But in the qualifying round Sunday, Wieber simply could not deliver.”
Jordyn Wieber knocked out of all-around contention
sad sad,, very sad,
What a heartbreaker for her. 😦
