   This is him. His defense will place him in mental hospital, declare insanity as the defense.

   We, as a society, must become proactive and diligent in reporting suspicious people and activity to authorities.
   Then, they have to follow up with people power and take these threats to society off the streets, like the Gifford shooter.

   This can damper the vicious cycle of criminally mental illness.

   JMO.

   How about instead of after every major shooting we talk about the need to fund mental health instead of talking about gun rights? (self.politics)

   Also, talk about educating people about mental health issues, and providing help for those that need it.

     I would be great to have a better mental health system, but we never will. We don’t have the facilities and doctors. The medications help some but not all.

   Colorado shooting suspect struggled to find work, neighbor says

   The alleged gunman in the deadly “Dark Knight” movie theater shooting had trouble finding work before he returned to school to study neuroscience in Colorado, a San Diego neighbor said Friday.

   James Holmes, 24, who graduated from Westview High School in San Diego in 2006, could not find work after graduating from UC Riverside in 2010 with a bachelor’s in neuroscience, said Tom Mai, a retired electrical engineer who lives in the Rancho Penasquitos neighborhood where Holmes grew up.

   Holmes, who was arrested after the shooting Friday in suburban Denver, was described by law enforcement sources as a loner. He was a student at the University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus, but the school said he was in the process of withdrawing from the graduate program in neuroscience.

   Heard the Interview yesterday, I believe he was thought to be this “Star” Student on the Phd level it is very competitive. He was from a “great” school system prior.
   But when you get out into the world, it does not matter you A’s. for a job, you have to have a complete work resume before you graduate. and then be at the right place at the right time.
   I do not see other employers listed, just his studies.
   And he supported the Occupy movement.
   His mind couldn’t accept bad grades ( it was noted that is why he dropped out).
   What hurts me now, is the ppl that are healing, they are talking so they can heal, Their stories are very painful, and the MSM is glorifying it.
   No one covered the vigil last night.

     The MSM was saying he was a TP’er. Which is was not. I read that he was part of the black block, but I am not sure. Why did MSM find it necessary to pull the TP’s into this mess? Because it would make someone not to vote for Romney? The MSM is afraid of the TP’ers and it shows in this type of story. I can’t call them reporters anymore.The MSM lies and lies and lies some more for the Obama ideololgy that is ruining this country. These so called “reporters” should be fired for not checking their sources. Is there any “real” reporters out there?

   Hi Nicolas, Every state in the USA has their own law regarding the Death penalty. CO has the death penalty.

   I do agree, He has a criminal mind not an insane mind. but it has be be by a jury. He was not prepared to die, he did not shoot himself, he was a coward.
   He wanted to be a celebrity. He fantasize about this crime.

   Having reviewed the incident in question, one would assume that Holmes is a perfect candidate for capital punishment — otherwise known as the death penalty.

   Suitability of the death penalty is determined by a jury. Life in prison would most likely be the only alternative option.

   There are three people already awaiting execution in Colorado, and Holmes would appear to be most qualified to join them on death row.

   Currently on Colorado’s death row are Nathan Dunlap, who was condemned in 1996 for shooting and killing four people at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant; Sir Mario Owens, who was given a death sentence in 2008 for the murder of a young couple, Javad Marshall-Fields and his fiancee, Vivian Wolfe, who were both prosecution witnesses in a murder trial involving Owens; and Robert Ray, who was sentenced to death for ordering the murders committed by Sir Mario Owens.

   The Colorado shooting committed by James Holmes is not only a crime that is punishable by death, but also one of the worst massacres in the history of the state. And, with recent reports of Holmes already receiving death threats, if the state doesn’t kill him, I’m sure someone else will.

   According to TMZ, recently released inmates at the Arapahoe detention center are saying the only thing the inmates still inside are talking about is killing James Holmes.

   Wayne Medley told the New York Daily News: “All the inmates were talking about killing him. Everyone was looking for an opportunity. It’s all they could talk about.”

   The newspaper reported Holmes is in solitary confinement and was placed on suicide watch. Another inmate, Dima Damalov, told the paper that if Holmes were released into the general population, he wouldn’t “live to see Monday’s court appearance.”

     I agree SB. It appears that he was a loner maybe he just wanted to make a name for himself. He may get the death sentence, but he will live a long life behind bars in solitary confinement. Again, he will be alone.

   Sure, I understand. I’ll write a bit, maybe find it hard to decipher what I say about my grammatical errors hahaha. Here in Argentina, justice is very permissive. I honestly do not know how it is there, but here’s famous does not mean imprisonment for life to stay in jail are at most 25 years. Above, there is called “4×2” consisting of check out if you’re good. In that sense, you are many more advanced. Here to talk about death penalty means, in short, be like Hitler. So we also, they kill you anytime, anywhere. Anyway, back to the case … is as you say, surely I finished killing a convict or organize for it. That makes the United States, from time to time these massacres happen in Argentina are not used. Here we are far from a death sentence or life-put someone in jail, so we are a country so insecure. I am very sorry all the families of the deceased, Holmes will be condemned, but unfortunately no one will return to their sons, nephews, boyfriends, and others.

    The Colorado shooting suspect worked as a summer camp counselor in 2008 that was run by Jewish Big Brothers and Sisters in Los Angeles County, the group’s CEO confirmed to NBC4 on Saturday.

    James Holmes, 24, was a cabin counselor at Camp Max Straus during the summer of 2008, said Randy Schwab, the CEO of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters, said in a statement to NBC4. The camp is located in the Verdugo Moutain foothills above Glendale.

    James Holmes is boyfriend material — that’s the shocker a Match.com member says she got when she logged on Friday afternoon to see the site suggesting she hook up with the man accused of killing 12 people in the Colorado movie massacre.

    Diana (who asked us not to use her last name) tells TMZ she was floored when she saw Holmes’ profile among her matches — less than a day after the shootings — saying it was “pretty scary getting matched to a mass murderer.”

    Diana says the profile said James hadn’t visited the site in the last 24 hours, so it clearly had been created before the shootings. The profile also has the same tagline from James’ adultfinder.com profile — “Will you visit me in prison?”

    Diana says she informed Match.com of the profile and they said they’d take it down, which Diana says they did minutes later. She took a few screen shots before it was deleted.

    Holmes’ profile included:

    — Favorite movies: “Too many good movies to have a favorite, maybe Dumb and Dumber, Hachiko, Star Wars, etc.”
    — Favorite book: Where’s Waldo?
    — “You should message me if you’re interested, obviously. Or lookin’ for sexy times. Very nice!”
    — Political views: Middle of the road
    — Faith: Agnostic
    — “I spend a lot of time thinking about the future. Mind = blown”

    We reached out to Match.com for a comment. So far, no word back.
