London Olympic opening ceremony tribute to socialized medicine or national health service. It was British Danny Boyle’s $42 million world stage show.
I am discovering the undercurrent layers of the theatrical tribute to music, theater and movies. Watch the below video.

There is so much to write, discuss within the realm of production.
They do not have a you tube video available of the entire show as NBC edited portions that were shown to America.
I just saw all the Mary Poppins but as I am reading there are different interpretations.
Did not hear the soundtrack in entirety.

Those lights going around the stadium, look like a heart beating. I thought the games were for the athletes why do you have to add a political point of view? I guess they love that their healthcare is making them go broke? How do the citizens absorb all the costs of all the new immigrants, they cut services. Sorry I went off on a tangent/.
Hi, didn’t know you where here, There is so many things to uncover.
The Brits have terrible healthcare, You should see their teeth, It was a standing joke while working on Cruise ships with them, Many went state side and went to Dr and Dentists while they had the opportunity,

Britain’s NHS Is NSH (Not So Hot)
Along with the creepy tableaux of fictional villains terrifying sick children, the ode to Britain’s socialized health care was by far the most irritating part of Friday night’s Olympic opening ceremony — produced by lefty film maker Danny Boyle.
As Boyle fulsomely praised socialized health care as it’s practiced in Britain, one just has to wonder what his response would be to the following headlines, featuring that self-same NHS:
Doris, 95, was left on a hospital trolley for 28 hours — and when her son asked where she was, doctors didn’t have a clue (UK Daily Mail, 4/29/12)
Surgery bans elderly patient over her carbon footprint (Telegraph, 4/3/12)
NHS shamed over callous treatment of elderly (Telegraph, 2/14/11)
Betrayed by the NHS: Doctor who gave her life to health service is refused vital cancer drugs that could save her (UK Daily Mail, 4/30/10)
Pathway for the Elderly that Leads to Execution (Telegraph,10/14/09)
These are just samples. There is plenty — plenty! — more where that came from. Just worth a thought when you see propaganda praising socialized “health care.” It isn’t “care” as we know it, and doesn’t seem too health-y, does it?

NBC’s Lauer and Vieira Gush Over Olympic Tribute to Britain’s Government-Run Health Care ( No Politics please NBC)
(Video)
Managing to squeeze politics into the opening ceremony of the Olympics on Friday, NBC hosts Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira cheered a tribute to Britain’s government-run National Health Service, with Lauer declaring: “Back in the states…we’re locked in this kind of partisan debate over the future of health care in our own country. Here, they feel so strongly about their health care system, they’re actually celebrating it as part of the Olympic opening ceremony.”
Vieira introduced the portion of the ceremony by touting the vision of event’s liberal director: “It is called, “Second to the Right,” a reference to J.M. Barrie’s children’s book Peter Pan. It honors what Danny Boyle considers two of Britain’s greatest achievements, children’s literature and the National Health Service’s publicly-funded health care system.”
Moments later, Vieira noted the performers were real-life British doctors and nurses, proclaiming: “This has to be a great moment of pride for them to receive this kind of recognition before a worldwide audience.”

If these were all Dr.s and Nurses, I hope no patients died in the making of this!
