Colorado shooting suspect James Holmes claims amnesia. This is a weak defense. The accused mass murderer keeps asking ‘Why am I here?’ a jail staffer reports. This is a joke right? When he gets in front of a jury, the State Prosecution will remind Holmes very quickly where he is at and why he is here.

Christian Bale, Batman star visits shooting memorial in Aurora, Colorado. Bill Voloch, interim president of Medical Center of Aurora, told the Denver Post that Bale spent about 2½ hours Tuesday at the hospital, where he met with seven of the victims. Colorado shooting survivor threatens to sue studio, theater and doctors. The US should get ready for the legal suits and liability. Should there have been alarms that have went off when the emergency door was propped? Do we want guards at the doors of our movie arenas, mental detectors? Maybe we could employ the TSA agents. We have Marshall’s in the air when we fly. Will our freedoms ever be the same or will it be altered forever?
The lawyer, Donald Karpel is going to launch a civil suit to three defendants, the Century Aurora 16 movie theater, Warner Bros. Entertainment and the doctors for alleged Colorado gunman James Holmes.
Torrance Brown, Jr. has hired above counsel. He walked away physically not injured. But saw he best friend die, A.J. Boik, He claims to be suffering from extreme trauma.
Is this just the beginning?

Police discover 30 bombs in mass movie murderer massacre suspect’s apt. Techo music set on a timer at midnight to go off in his dwelling while he carried out his killing spree in Aurora, Colorado. James Holmes planted a booby trap that did not work according to his plan.
After the shootings, police arrived at Holmes’ apartment to find “techno-music” blaring from the bedroom, according to a law enforcement source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The music was on a timer and apparently started once he left for the movie theater, said the source, who was not authorized to release details of the investigation to the media.
Kaitlyn Fonzi, a 20-year-old graduate student at University Hospital who lives in the apartment beneath Holmes’, said she heard the deep-bass, reverberating music crank up around midnight Thursday, just as a sold-out crowd was settling into its seats at the Batman premiere a few miles away.

The Dark Knight Rises, ads in New York City billboard that caught my eye this past Sunday, July 15, 2012. I am not a movie goer but it seems to be all the rage in the previews. Opens in theaters July 20th.
I did watch Batman in the 60’s TV series though with Adam West.
