October’s Full Hunter’s Moon, Megamoon 2016, Ground Energy Mother Earth

Travel Moon and the Dying Grass Moon Ok I can see this?

I just do not feel well during full moon, emotionally physically, I just hang low.  Saw my son was up at 6:30am so things are off then.  I believe the night before he took a walk at 4am.  Yes, it is the Full Moon! Thank you Jordan for fixing my computer.  You saved me from buying a new one! That is huge! Love and Happiness! Blessings, OM the Full moon in Aries, not good for blood flow. Oh OK, outRAGEous, socially unjust energies, I will keep reading! I knew it, that huge shift since last September’s Full Moon. OMG  this is going to continue.

My Friends who are in the journey with me Vicki and Debbie are always on my mind.

Mystic Mamma

The Full Moon in Aries is exactly conjunct (joined) with Eris and also Uranus. That’s a serious, eyebrow-lifter for astrologers.
“We know Uranus can bring out the gifts of the rebel, the liberator, the awakener, the exile – each of these personas bringing a radical perspective because they value freedom and usually are precipitating it through unexpected and unsettling change.
“…Eris is cutting new ground here. She, with the aid of Uranus and in this moment the Full Aries Moon (all at 22-23º Aries) has been kicking up all the issues smacking of injustice whether in inner cities, locker rooms, prison cells, banks, war torn countries, wherever outRAGEous, socially unjust energies reside.
Eris is the archetype of the feminine spiritual warrior, a warrior goddess. She gives a voice to feminine wildness compelled to do the right thing for all living beings, and she doesn’t care what gets left behind on the battlefield.
“Eris can access her fierce, ruthless strength to battle all the ugly manifestations of dominance, separation, and greed that can be created by the ego. This is not wanton destruction, but principled action out of deep necessity to WAKE UP!
“So, I’m just saying, this is a big influence for this Full Moon. It’s showing up in the news and it will show up in the charts of those with planets at 20-25º cardinal signs Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra.
“When Mars and Aries are strong as they are here, anger is not your best ‘go to’ emotion. Although anger has its righteous place, over-reaction will not serve you.
“Keeping the peace or asserting yourself will be on the table. This Megamoon has a lot to teach us.”

Pink Floyd: The Great Gig In The Sky.

My Dearest Friend Angelo, brilliant DJ, reminded me of the times we shared this song together. He inspired my improvisational dance career in South Jersey. I was feeling blue and he told me I owned this song when performed. Deep emotional feelings surface down to my heart and inner soul.

Pink Floyd keyboard player Rick Wright, wrote this song, which is about life, gradually descending into death. Hence the angrier and more intense first half with a dying person refusing to “go gently into that good night.”The second half is gentler, as the dying person gives into the inevitable and fades away. In the March 1998 issue of Mojo, Wright explained: “For me, one of the pressures of being in the band was this constant fear of dying because of all the traveling we were doing in planes and on the motorways in America and in Europe.”

Disturbed “The Sound Of Silence”

This cover song came on 93.3 WMMR after the gym ( 60 minute Spin ride tribute to Prince) when arriving home.  My son and I were parked but grabbed our cells to see who was singing.  We stayed silent in the car until the music was over.   Did it pull my heart strings? Just when you believe new music is dead. Brilliant. Bravo.

This morning I played the song again for my twenty-eight year old son. ” Mom, I remember this song from the 10th Anniversary of 9/11.”

The first tract by Disturbed was performed on Conan, March 28, 2016.

The  2nd track below was  performed on 9/11 Ground Zero, by Paul Simon, Sep 11, 2011.

Barracuda performed by Gretchen Wilson & Alice in Chains.

Excellent music unlike what I heard at the halftime performance of the Super Bowl.  Please stop trying to entertain the world with crappy pop performances. Bring back the Rock Bands, U2, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, The Who to name a few.

Comfortably Numb, Roger Waters & David Gilmour, Live, London, 2011.

I wished I would have seen the original production of “The Wall” at the Spectrum in Philadelphia.   I was a  4-5th year full-time student at Temple University during the formative/passionate years of Classic Rock and Roll.  My sister-mother from Alpha Gamma Delta worked at 93.3 WMMRJoe Bonadonna,  was on air radio personality during the afternoon I believe Mark Goodman followed him. Joe gave me a not to be sold LP of “The Wall.”  Lots of brilliant rock and roll was exposed in Philly.  WMMR was located on the 2nd or 3rd floor overlooking Rittenhouse Square at 19th and Walnut Streets.

I hung out there during live broadcasts with friends from Temple..  Now, that I remember, that was totally awesome. But, back in the day no one was superficial. It was always a party. Music was the magic.

But through the power of the Internet, I can relive and research my days of future past.

BTW, can you tell I become inspired  upon brilliant guitar musicians.

Comfortably Numb, Composition, Wiki

According to Rolling Stone, the lyrics came from Roger Waters’ experience when he was injected with tranquilizers for stomach cramps by a doctor prior to playing a Pink Floyd show in Philadelphia on the band’s 1977 In the Flesh tour. “That was the longest two hours of my life,” Waters said, “trying to do a show when you can hardly lift your arm.” The experience gave him the idea which eventually became the lyrics to this song.
