Violence in the Streets: Morsi’s appeal for ‘trust’ falls on deaf ears in Egypt. Since assuming sweeping powers never held by an Egyptian president, Egyptians have taken to the streets across the country in protest of President Morsi’s move. Morsi has asked Egyptians to trust him, but the slogans coming out of Tahrir are the same as the ones heard during the revolution – only the name of the president has changed.

The The Philadelphia Parking Authority 2014 ( PPA)  has set free street parking beginning at 11 a.m. every Saturday until December 29, 2012. The change applies to meters citywide.

PPA Executive Director Vince Fenerty announced,

To support holiday shopping, meter parking city-wide will be free every Saturday between November 24 and December 29, after 11 a.m. All other parking violations will be enforced.”

No need to place money in the kiosks boxes, 25 cents for 8 minutes.
