Let The Fire Burn: MOVE and The City of Philadelphia.

This day I took a dance class at the Jazz Dance Center at 2020 Samson Street in the afternoon.  I remember I came out of the studio and looked up and saw dark black smoke coming from West Philly.  I drove home to Roxbough and turned on the TV.  Mayor Goode had decided to drop a bomb the new location of MOVE on Osage Avenue. Sixty-one homes were destroyed by the six-alarm blaze, one of the largest in the city’s history.

I was a Temple University undergraduate student when  the MOVE commune started their terrorism for over a decade.  Mayor Rizzo took MOVE out of Powelton Village area after they had shot a cop dead, officer James Ramp.

I will defiantly view this film since it is a part of Philadelphia’s history that I lived through. Then, I will write my review.

Violence in the Streets: Morsi’s appeal for ‘trust’ falls on deaf ears in Egypt. Since assuming sweeping powers never held by an Egyptian president, Egyptians have taken to the streets across the country in protest of President Morsi’s move. Morsi has asked Egyptians to trust him, but the slogans coming out of Tahrir are the same as the ones heard during the revolution – only the name of the president has changed.

Obama on Middle East violence, terrorist attacks, a dead Ambassador and 3 other Americans in Libya, “Bumps in the Road” WTH? Sorry, I missed this interview on “60 Minutes” last night.  I was preoccupied with viewing the NFL.

This is a clear example of Obama’s position sympathizing with Muslim anti-American hostility.

Obama used this allegory once before when referring to a jobs report and slowing economy at a Chrysler Plant in June 2011.

This man continues to be out of touch with American policies foreign and domestic. It must be Obama’s go to phrase.  Time for Obama to have a bump in the road back to Chicago after the November 6, 2012 election.
