Your Future Lies Before You : Joshua 5:12

Joshua 5:12

12 And the manna ceased the day after they ate of the produce of the land. And there was no longer manna for the people of Israel, but they ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

The Lord brings His children through challenging situations, not to destroy them but rather to prepare them for what lies ahead. Be assured that even in your most trying times that God has not forgotten His promise to you. You may be eating manna today but your time for milk and honey awaits you. It is your time to possess the promise.

Jesus Christ’s Peace Experience : John 14:27-31

John 14:27-31

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31 but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.

Dear Lord,

Almighty God our heavenly Father, you declare your glory and show forth your handiwork in the heavens and in the earth: Deliver us in our various occupations from the service of self alone, that we may do the work you give us to do in truth and beauty and for the common good; for the sake of him who came among us as one who serves, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse, Energy Shift Sept 16-17, 2016

I predicted to my friends that this one was not going to be pretty.  I made sure not to schedule anything major in my life.  I watched people get sick, have short tempers and bombs go off in NJ and NYC.  Bring in the new energy.

This full moon is officially named the Harvest Moon and lunar eclipses always, and only, take place when the moon is at its fullest. On the evening of September 16-17th the sun, moon, and Earth will all become evenly aligned and the moon will then pass behind our planet. That’s where it will enter into the Earth’s shadow and the light from the sun will be blocked from reaching it.

Things will come to an end or be completed. This sense of finality can appear in essentially any area of our lives. Perhaps it will manifest as a relationship that’s burned itself out or you’ll finally finish a project you’ve been working long and hard on. Either way, it will be over and done with. Say goodbye and move on to whatever is next on your plate.

The truth will be highlighted for many people, especially in terms of relationships. If there is something that has been kept from you, or you’ve been unable to see it, soon enough it will come to light. When the truth finally does come, don’t ignore or brush it off, face it head on and get past it.

Some of us will finally be able to let go of any pent up anger or rage that we have been holding inside ourselves for so long. As such, we may be very emotional and our judgment may be clouded, but once we release the aggression we can breathe a sigh of relief and think clearly once again.

Some of us will experience a heightened sense of creativity and expressiveness. Use this renewed interest in the arts as an outlet for any of the aforementioned anger or frustration that you may be harboring. Write, sing, draw, or paint out your emotions rather than unleashing them on others. That way you won’t cause anyone unnecessary hurt or burn any bridges.

Many of us will find balance and a renewed sense of ourselves. As shown throughout what was mentioned above, we will dealing with a lot of heavy stuff that’s been weighing us down. When we’re finally free of it we will have grown and become all the more wiser for having experienced it in the first place. Look inwards and determine both what you want and what you stand for, then focus on the answers that only you can provide yourself with!

Leviticus 14: 33-42, 1 Corinthians 5:6-8: Is Your Home Clean for The Word of God?

Leviticus 14: 33-42 ESV

33 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 34 “When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a spreading mold in a house in that land, 35 the owner of the house must go and tell the priest, ‘I have seen something that looks like a defiling mold in my house.’ 36 The priest is to order the house to be emptied before he goes in to examine the mold, so that nothing in the house will be pronounced unclean. After this the priest is to go in and inspect the house. 37 He is to examine the mold on the walls, and if it has greenish or reddish depressions that appear to be deeper than the surface of the wall, 38 the priest shall go out the doorway of the house and close it up for seven days. 39 On the seventh day the priest shall return to inspect the house. If the mold has spread on the walls, 40 he is to order that the contaminated stones be torn out and thrown into an unclean place outside the town. 41 He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town. 42 Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house.

1 Corinthians 5:6-8

 Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8 Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Unshakeable Peace Serenity: Philippians 4:6-7.

Philippians 4:6-7

6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Serenity can’t be manufactured—it’s a gift from our heavenly Father. The Holy Spirit produces a sense of calm in believers who seek the Lord’s protection against anxiety. The Greek word translated as guard in today’s passage literally means “to garrison about.” God wraps hearts and minds in peace, effectively safeguarding both against all-consuming worry or fear. Notice that He doesn’t make problems go away—we may still be under pressure or prone to weep, but we’re cushioned against anxiety and surrounded by peace instead.

Heal me with your love. I bring to you, dearest Lord, my life and it is, my hopes and dreams, my struggles and pains, my fears, anxieties my hurts, my talents, my achievements, my disappointments and my sickness. I bring to you all whom I love. I entrust all to you and with confident faith I take heart; for you make all things new. Renew me, and heal me with your everlasting love.
In this I pray, Amen
