NFL Philly QB Mark Sanchez Promised A Visit To Geno and Pat Steaks After Win to Carolina.
Yes, Sanchez made good on a promise to Broadcaster John Gruden if he could help the team to a win he would go and eat his first Cheesesteak down in South Philly.
I wonder what he got and who’s Cheese Steak he likes better? I am a Geno’s fan.
Sanchez broke bread with the faithful fans of Philly after the slaughter of the Panthers. That is a big deal and die-hard Eagle fans will take notice and get behind the new QB for the Philadelphia Eagles.
BTW, it was Mark Sanchez 28th Birthday.

Monday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles Defeat Carolina Panthers, 45-21.
I made it to the 3rd quarter, fell asleep and awoke right after the post game interviews. It wasn’t a long night because the Philly Eagles were in control of the game after the 1st quarter.
Sanchez stated after the game,
After playing for a while, you learn a lot. I’ve made plenty of mistakes and hurt the team. The most important thing was taking care of the football, communicating well and executing. If we do that, generally we’ll be successful. There are still plenty of things to clean up though. By no means was this perfect.”
The Eagles (7-2) stayed on top in the NFC East.

Polar Vortex to Chill 200 Million People With Arctic Air.
Great, I just despise the cold weather. I am a hot weather bunny. The ducks last winter learned to walk on ice at my local lake. I cannot take another winter like last year. OMG!
Arctic air associated with the polar vortex will lunge into the North Central United States early next week and will expand southward and eastward to affect about 200 million people as the week progresses.
The polar vortex is a large pocket of very cold air, typically the coldest air in the Northern Hemisphere, which sits over the polar region. Occasionally, this pocket of very cold air can get dislodged farther south than normal, leading to cold outbreaks in Canada and the U.S.
The coldest weather of the season so far will extend from the Dakotas to Texas and the Interstate-95 corridor by the end of the week. The outbreak of arctic air will be long-lasting and may linger well past the middle of the month.

Hall & Oates – She’s Gone video, Retro 1974. Abandoned Luncheonette Album.
Hall and Oates had left Temple University when I arrived in 1974.
Their corner dorm room was said to be on the 9th or 11th floor of Johnson Hall.
Classic is their demeanor in this their first music video. ( Maybe high on….) Remember this was way back in the 70’s, No MTV.
Re-released in 1976, the single went from #60 on Billboard to #7.
