The Footprints Prayer is an inspirational poem about having faith in God. Also known as “Footprints in The Sand”, this prayer shows how God is always with us, especially in times of need.
It is thought by some that the person describing the dream is in fact Jesus. Just as we all sometimes struggle with our faith, as so did Jesus. In times of need, we must look back and see the footprints in the sand to realize that God is, has and always will by our side.
Below are my Footprints In The Sand.

Memorial Day Weekend, Philadelphia’s Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial.
In my area, we pay tribute to the fallen from the Vietnam War. This is the War that I remember very clearly. I was a young child but as the war escalated, the protests are vividly etched in my mind. There was a draft, and a lottery system held by the Selective Service System. My friend Glenn’s birthday date was picked at 23. But the war ended and he never got called to duty. I was in High School. Glenn was 4 years older than I and had graduated.
Would you have been drafted by the lottery system? Click here to find out.

Built in 1987 with the support of veteran’s, their families, public, and corporate contributions Philadelphia’s Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial is one of the most heartfelt in the nation. 58,000 Americans were killed in action, 300,000 wounded and more than 2,400 remain unaccounted for in the war.
The Memorial wall at Front and Spruce streets records the names of Philadelphia’s 646 heroes in stone so that their sacrifice shall never be forgotten.
May all Americans remember all the brave men who died in the name of freedom.

New Jersey: Stronger than the Storm? We shall see, it is still up for debate, Christie. Not all of the shore’s coast line has been replenished from Super Storm Sandy.
My personal photos of my last trip to the shore, Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Labor Day weekend 2012. That is what we call it here the shore not the beach. It has been my childhood’s destination for the past 5 decades. Yes, do the Math.
I always go to shore in the PM so I do not have to pay to get on the beach. But, LBI is laid back. No buses over the causeway bridge. It is like you have a private beach. Hey, Christie, can you ask your friend Obama if he can cut another check for a free shore passes this year for all the Jersey shore visitors for 2013? Since you gave Obama that photo-op after Super Storm Sandy right before the Presidential election 2012. We New Jersey residents will never forget.
