I do not know where to begin.
Every State effected has their own tail of destruction.
I pray for those ppl that lost their homes.
Christy looks really tired and concerned. I am glad that Romney has taken the high road. I am still seeing Obama and the Moose begging for money and your vote every time I open my mail. I am sick to death of these two.
This is not good, near Long Beach Island
Exelon declares alert at NJ Oyster Creek reactor ( My Nuke Plant)
Exelon Corp’s 43-year-old Oyster Creek plant in New Jersey remains on “alert” status, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) said early Tuesday. It is only the third time this year that the second-lowest of four emergency action levels was triggered.
“Oyster Creek is still in an alert but may be getting out of it as long as water levels continue to drop,” NRC spokesman Neil Sheehan told Reuters.
The incident at Oyster Creek, which is about 60 miles (95 km) east of Philadelphia on the New Jersey Coast, came as Sandy made landfall as the largest Atlantic storm ever, bringing up to 90 mile per hour (mph) winds and 13-foot storm surges in the biggest test of the industry’s emergency preparedness since the Fukushima disaster in Japan a year and a half ago.

Let’s hope that this damage isn’t like the plant in Japan. I really don’t trust our gov’t. to tell the people the truth.
It is the oldest Nuke Plant, it was supposed to be closed Christie is keeping it open for 8 more years. Not covering this the MSM
Oyster Creek Plant, Nation’s Oldest Nuclear Facility, Issues Rare ‘Alert’ In Face Of Sandy
On Tuesday morning, the NRC said that Entergy Corp’s Indian Point 3 automatically tripped offline at about 10:41 p.m. last night due to fluctuations in the power grid caused by the storm, while Public Service Enterprise Group Inc’s Salem Unit 1 was manually shut down at 1:10 a.m. due to a loss of “condenser circulators” due to the storm surge and debris.

Barack Obama to visit New Jersey on Wednesday to view storm damage
President Barack Obama will travel to New Jersey on Wednesday to view storm damage from Sandy with Republican Governor Chris Christie, the White House said.
Obama will also visit victims of the huge storm and will thank “first responders who put their lives at risk to protect their communities,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said in a statement.

I do recall that Obama didn’t want to go to the oil spill because it would hamper the clean up because of his presence. Another election ploy. Does Obama every think of others!
Obama has always been in campaign Mode for the past 2 years.
What else has Obama done?
Is Obama going to cut the State of NJ a check? GMAB
Hurricane Sandy: New Jersey is Ground Zero, Obama to Visit Wednesday
The White House says Obama will join New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in viewing the damage. Christie is a Republican who has been an Obama critic.
Christie said,
“The level of devastation at the Jersey Shore is unthinkable,”Houses are moved off their foundations, there are houses in the middle of route 35.”
“It is beyond anything I thought I’d ever see…It is a devastating sight right now.”

So this is why the Obama Love Child Christie turned on Romney.
Exclusive: Christie was Mitt’s first choice for VP
One of the most tantalizing subplots of the 2012 campaign has been the curious and sometimes controversial performances of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Now, campaign insiders tell POLITICO that Christie was Mitt Romney’s first choice for the Republican ticket, lending an intriguing new context to the continuing drama around the Garden State governor.
And yet Romney switched from Christie to Ryan in a span of about two weeks, according to a detailed inside account provided to POLITICO.
Romney was so close to picking Christie that some top advisers at the campaign’s Boston headquarters believed the governor had been offered the job. The campaign made tentative plans to announce a pick in late July, just before Romney headed off on his overseas trip, starting with a stop at the London Olympics.
