Obama on Middle East violence, terrorist attacks, a dead Ambassador and 3 other Americans in Libya, “Bumps in the Road” WTH? Sorry, I missed this interview on “60 Minutes” last night. I was preoccupied with viewing the NFL.
This is a clear example of Obama’s position sympathizing with Muslim anti-American hostility.
It is disgusting to have Obama describe the killing of an ambassador and three other Americans as "a bump in the road" on 60 minutes.
Obama used this allegory once before when referring to a jobs report and slowing economy at a Chrysler Plant in June 2011.
This man continues to be out of touch with American policies foreign and domestic. It must be Obama’s go to phrase. Time for Obama to have a bump in the road back to Chicago after the November 6, 2012 election.
Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton’s $70,000 apology to Muslims on Pakistani television as a public service announcement. That is the to cost American taxpayers, $70,000 for the ad that aired on seven different Pakistani television stations by the US Embassy in Islamabad. The ad is in English but subtitled in Urdu, the main Pakistani language. This leads the US government in distancing themselves from the anti-Islam video Innocence of Muslims and the right of free speech in America.
Victoria Nuland, US State Department spokesperson stated at a new briefing,
In order to ensure we reached the largest number of Pakistanis, some 90 million as I understand it in this case with these spots, it was the judgment that this was the best way to do it.”
I think the sense was that this particular aspect of the president and the secretary’s message needed to be heard by more Pakistanis than had heard it, and that this was an effective way to get that message across.”
There are not a lot of people out there who think they’re victims. There are not a lot of people who think they’re entitled to something.”
Also Obama stated,
One thing I’ve learned as president is that you represent the entire country, My expectation is if you want to be president, you’ve got to work for everybody, not just for some. When you run for president, you are under a microscope all the time. All of us make mistakes. That incident in 2008, I immediately said, I regret this. What I think people want to make sure of is you’re not writing off a big chunk of the country.”
On the terrorism in Libya and Muslims Obama remarked,
The message we have to send, I think, to the Muslim world is, we expect you to work with us to keep our people safe. And as offensive as this video was , and obviously, we denounced it, and the united states government had nothing to do with it, that’s never an excuse for violence. And in this part of the region, as they emerge, into a new form of government, part of what they’re going to have to do is to recognize that democracy is not just casting a ballot, it’s respecting freedom of speech and tolerating people with different points of view, and it means that you’ve got to make sure that you never have any excuses for the kind of violence against innocents we saw last week, and that’s a message that I’ve sent very clearly to the leaders of various countries, and we expect their full cooperation, because that’s the only way the international order works.”
