Candy History

The two top selling candies in America have been:

  • M & M’S — M&M’s are milk chocolate drops with a colorful candy coating on the outside. The candies were first manufactured in 1941 and were given to American soldiers serving in the Second World War. M&M’s are manufactured by Mars Inc.
  • REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS — Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are round chocolate disks that are filled with a sweet, creamy peanut butter filling. The cups were first manufactured in 1928 by the Hershey’s company.

What a wonderful surprise to see Madonna back in her element again. She was wearing her trademark costume, black fishnets.

Madonna was my inspiration in the 80’s as I was teaching and started my professional dance career in that decade.

Madonna – Express Yourself, Staple Singers – Respect Yourself, Soul Train, Solid Gold Dancers.

Hey people you need to express and respect yourself. These singers know what they are talking about.

I believe you have to love yourself before you can love other people. That is not a selfish statement. think about it. I have discovered loving me again and it feels awesome. Try it. 

 I am so glad I grew up during Soul Train, Solid Gold, and Bandstand. Yes, I was a professional dancer/choreographer in the 1980’s. The best time for music and dance and everything great in life.  The Towers still stood also.   I can always go to the Internet and view the best times because those times will never be the same ever.  JMO.

Got to run and be s student in Bob’s Sunday spin class. He takes me to Church there.  :–)
