Mitt Romney in Israel stops at Jewish holy site on Tisha Be’av. Mitt Romney has visited one of Judaism’s most holy sites. The U.S. presidential candidate, who’s on a pre-election, 36-hour visit trip to burnish his foreign-policy credentials, visited the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Mitt decided to visit Israel on Tisha Be’av- A Jewish day of mourning and an inter-generational lifeline.

In an appearance on Fox News, Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz accused the Washington Examiner of “deliberately” misquoting her comments claiming that Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren stated that Republicans were “dangerous for Israel.”
