“We Are Hungry.” Students fight back against Michelle Obama’s lunch policy, Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010,. The nanny states dictates hunger because they see every child as over weight.
Each child has a different metabolism, the way their bodies burn calories (a calorie which is one unit of heat burned in food intake) To place calories restrictions on school lunches for all students is mot healthy, it must be supervised and moderated if the child is overweight or obese. Again, not all students are at the same BMI, body mass index, the ratio between fat and muscle tissue.
Primary Dr should do this test once per year to determine their body mass index.
How about the active children, the ones that participate in sports/dance/exercise activities?
Students that can bring their own lunch to school and/or can purchase additional food have extra money have no restrictions.
The government is targeting poor children. The ones that have free school lunches.
I packed my son own healthy lunch @ school. K-12 grades.
I remember back when I was in High school, I would cut out for lunch and wouldn’t eat the school lunch. go to the local hogie/pizza/sandwich shop and take it back into the lunchroom to eat.
When the supervision came up to me and asked where did I get the food, I said, someone dropped it off, 🙂
I was a very active child/teenager. Started eating healthy to maintain my athletic performance.
Time to inject qualified Physical/Health Education Teachers back in the school curriculum. Maybe the school should also aid in determining a child’s body mas index.
All adults should have this test also. I do once every 2-3 months at my gym.
The video was great. How can children move if they are hungry? I am sure the Moose eats more than that for a snack. On the playing field there will be more injuries. Her ideas are just as asinine as Obama.
This will end when parents have had enough and put their children into private schools, where they make the rules and the teachers have to perform. Until then the liberals will be making the rules for all of us.

N.J. High School Students Planning Cafeteria Boycott To Protest Obama Guidelines
They hope to further their efforts with a cafeteria boycott that will cost the school money, and students like Faris said they want to know why they are paying the price for other people’s problems.
“If somebody’s obese why should someone like me who’s not obese have to suffer, and eat a small meal when I’d rather have a bigger meal?” he said.
“There’s a lot less turkey on the sandwich, there’s 33 percent less turkey and the size of the bread has been reduced by a third,” explained Mark Vidovich, who runs Pomptonian Food Service.

What the government did is cap the High School lunch @ 850 calories b/c of Michelle’s Obama’s Let’s Move campaign.
Let’s Move her out of the White House.
These students need much more protein in their lunch.

Government control again under the Obama administration. When will the insanity end?
