CFL Trent Guy takes missed field goal 129-yards for a touchdown, week 13, 2012. Montreal Alouettes wide receiver/returner Trent Guy returned a Toronto Argonauts missed field goal 129-yards for an outstanding touchdown, his second TD of the game.

The Canadian Football League field is 110 yards long and the end zones are 20 yards deep.  This equals 130 yards for the possible length of a field. That means Guy has the longest field goal return in the league.

The Alouettes won 31-10.  Montreal (8-4) leads the Argonauts (6-6) by four points with six regular season games left for both clubs.

Mute Button, attack ad by Mitt Romney. The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward reported that during negotiations on the stimulus, President Obama called the leaders of the Democratic Party: Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid. As he spoke, Speaker Pelosi muted the phone and went on with the meeting. If he cannot lead his own party, how can he lead America?

New York City high schools to offer “morning after” pills in a pilot program called CATCH, (Connecting Adolescents To Comprehensive Health). In 13 of New York City’s high schools, the Department of Education has authorized distribution of the controversial Plan B hormonal birth control in nurses offices without parental consent. Only 1-2% of parents selected to opt out of the program by form.

New York City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn stated,

High school students are very sexually active and getting pregnant, so we don’t have that luxury to think that they are too young to be engaged in conversations about contraception and sexual education.”
