Nehemiah 1:4
4 When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.
The highest form of prayer comes from the depths of a humble heart.

dear lord,
I know you are gentle
and that you gave your Heart for me
It was crowned with thorns through my sins.
I know that even today you are praying for me
so that I will not be lost.
reach into my heart, Jesus
knock at the door of my heart
be patient and persistent with me
in this I pray
amen
Amen
