NJ Gov. Christie & Obama Play Arcade Games In the Rain on Asbury Park‘s Boardwalk. Guess who won? All Smile now.

There was lots of news today and I did not get to do a post on my beloved Governor and Obama’s 2nd visit to the Jersey Shore. Christie needs that return Photo-op for his reelection? Opps, I forgot, Christie is a Republican. But Christie helped Obama and invited him to the Jersey Shore after Hurricane Sandy devastation days before the Presidential Election of 2012.

Nuff said, The Phillies are playing the Red Sox’s, top of the 9th inning Cliff Lee (5-2) on mound. ( I love lefties) 3-1 Phillies. (So sorry my Dear friend Tom, forgive me) Will my Philles find a way to Win in the Green Monster? Will Papelbon’s return to Boston close the deal if winning in 9th,? Or will Lee go the distance because he looks surgical tonight? Breath, it is long MLB season. Sorta like the next Presidential election of 2016. Well, not that long.

New Jersey: Stronger than the Storm?

New Jersey: Stronger than the Storm? We shall see, it is still up for debate, Christie. Not all of the shore’s coast line has been replenished from Super Storm Sandy.

My personal photos of my last trip to the shore, Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Labor Day weekend 2012. That is what we call it here the shore not the beach. It has been my childhood’s destination for the past 5 decades. Yes, do the Math.

I always go to shore in the PM so I do not have to pay to get on the beach. But, LBI is laid back. No buses over the causeway bridge. It is like you have a private beach. Hey, Christie, can you ask your friend Obama if he can cut another check for a free shore passes this year for all the Jersey shore visitors for 2013? Since you gave Obama that photo-op after Super Storm Sandy right before the Presidential election 2012. We New Jersey residents will never forget.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Nominates 2 to State Supreme Court

New Jessey Governor Chris Christie nominated 2 to state Supreme Court. New Jersey Supreme Court could see the first Asian-American on the state’s highest court if confirmed by the state Senate. Both men have already been confirmed once by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

David Bauman 56, of Holmdel, who was born in Japan and immigrated to the United States at age 3, is the presiding judge for the civil division of the Superior Court in Monmouth County. He is the son of a Japanese mother and an American father of German and Irish heritage who was serving in the U.S. Navy.

Robert Hanna, 54, of Madison. Now, the president of the Board of Public Utilities that oversees the state’s regulated utilities, were nominated to fill two vacancies on the seven-member court that could be called on to decide such weighty cases as public school funding and gay marriage.

Christie said,

I’ve got lots of Democrats in my administration as well, and they don’t automatically because Republicans just because I nominate them to something. And I worked with a lot of people in the U.S. Attorney’s Office who were both Republicans, Democrats and independents. If you talk to anybody in the United States Attorney’s Office who served at the same time Bob and I did — in fact, I spoke to one of them this morning who told me there was no one in his experience that relished disagreeing with me more than Bob Hanna. He has kept that personality streak through the last three years. You are what you say you are, not what other people say you are.”
