1 John 4:18

¹⁸There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Dear Lord,

I know you did not give us the spirit of fear, instead you give us your power, your love and a sound mind. I lay down my fears at the foot of the cross. Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion, inexhaustible, look upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent. But with great confidence we will submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. In this I pray, Amen

John 14:13-14

¹³Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

Philippians 4:6

⁶do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Romans 8:26-27

²⁶Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. ²⁷And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
