“The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed

Psalm 23:6 ESV

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

Lord of life,
your unfailing help sustains us
in hope of the salvation you promise.
May those who have gone before us be happy with you,
and welcome us into your Kingdom when our time comes.

Psalm 62: 5-11 ESV

5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
    for my hope is from him.
6 He only is my rock and my salvation,
    my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7 On God rests my salvation and my glory;
    my mighty rock, my refuge is God.

8 Trust in him at all times, O people;
    pour out your heart before him;
    God is a refuge for us. Selah

9 Those of low estate are but a breath;
    those of high estate are a delusion;
in the balances they go up;
    they are together lighter than a breath.
10 Put no trust in extortion;
    set no vain hopes on robbery;
    if riches increase, set not your heart on them.

Romans 5:2 ESV

2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith,into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

#faith.

one of my favorite passages. this is why it is so hard for me to "live through the law"
