dear lord,
place in my heart
the spotless light of Your Divine Wisdom
and open the eyes of my mind
that I may understand the teachings of Your Gospel.
Instill in me also the fear of Your blessed commandments,
I may lead a spiritual life,
both thinking and doing everything to please You.
For You, O Christ, our God,
are the enlightenment of my soul and body
and to You I render glory,
together with Your eternal Father,
and with The Holy Spirit
now and ever, and forever.

dear Jesus,
I know you see, hear every moment that I live
at this the beginning of Lenten season I want to reflect
on people in my life that need your guidance and help
You are all knowing,
my list is long and my heart is heavy
help me have inner peace
