Micah 6:8

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

 Jeremiah 22:3

This is what the LORD says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.

Enjoying my journey with Jesus.

Thank you to My Friend Tom who sent me the first scripture passage.

Isn’t that a beautiful photo?

It is my Friend Chris, who works out @ the gym. (can’t you tell)

He shared this picture of him and I asked if I could use it on my blog?

Of course it took me days to find an appropriate poem/poetic justice suited for such breathtaking event.

Thank you Chris!  ❤ sp84

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life
