Matthew 6:7-13
7 “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our trespasses,
as we have forgiven those who trespass against us
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

dear lord,
dear Father in Heaven,
You made me Your child
and called me to walk in the Light of Christ.
Free me from darkness
and keep me in the Light of Your Truth
The Light of Jesus has scattered
the darkness of hatred and sin.
Called to that Light,
I ask for Your guidance.
Form my life in Your Truth
my heart in Your Love.
give me the power of Your Grace
that I may walk in the Light of Jesus
and serve Him faithfully.
Again I implore You, dear Jesus
guide me to the right path
to the right person that can assist me
I cannot do this alone any longer
The Holy Spirit is with me always
as I am never alone.
in this I pray
