NBC’s Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel is upset on President Obama’s comment, “Egypt is not an ally.” Obama told Telemundo in an interview yesterday.
We threw our ally Mubarak overboard and Egypt is now our enemy. Great going Obama–Israel is in trouble.

Should the U.S. halt foreign aid to Libya and Egypt?
The violence in the Middle East has renewed questions about which countries get U.S. foreign aid and whether they deserve it.
Some House conservatives wanted to strip foreign aid to Libya and Egypt from a six-month funding bill set for a vote today. That’s not going to happen because it was too late for any changes to this bill.
Nonetheless, some Republicans are questioning if the U.S. should keep giving money to countries run by “radical Islamists” such as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
Others say before handing out aid, the U.S. should make sure Libya is helping with the investigation into the attack and murder of our ambassador and three other Americans.
But not everyone agrees. According to The Hill newspaper, senior House Republican David Dreier of California says it would be a “big mistake” to cut funding to Libya and Egypt. Dreier says it’s essential now more than ever to “strengthen ties with these fledgling democracies.”
I was listening to talk radio and they are all saying that Obama is at fault for our loss of allies in the ME. Of course, there are still a few liberal idiots that believe that the US is at fault. The Muslim Brotherhood and Obama are buddies we need to keep these terrorists out of our country. Allow no more to enter!

White House: No cutting off Egyptian aid
Despite calls for ending foreign aid to Egypt in the wake of an attack on the U.S. embassy in Cairo, the White House is standing by funding commitments.
Asked on Air Force One Thursday if the United States would withhold aid, White House press secretary Jay Carney said simply: “No.”
Carney also told reporters that the partnership with Egypt continues as the country transitions into democracy — in the wake of President Obama’s comments Wednesday that Egypt was neither an ally nor an enemy.
Some Republicans on the Hill are pushing a change to the bill that funds the government through December to ban foreign aid to Egypt and Libya. A question to the White House for comment on that effort underway was not answered.

Obama has ruined everything he has touched. Midas he is not!
Correction Mr. President.
U.S. State Department corrects Barack Obama: Egypt IS an American ally, Mr President
the State Department briefing, spokeswoman Victoria Nuland, who was clearly squirming, was forced to declare that Obama was wrong.
A reporter pressed: ‘So forget about the President’s words. You’re saying that the Administration, the State Department, still regards Egypt as a Major Non-NATO Ally and it is still a recipient of all the – of the privileges that that entails?’
Nuland responded: ‘Yes.’

The liberals, lets hope, are getting sick of being embarrassed by this POS.
