These young people realize that if they don’t stand up and speak out for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness today, they will be living in a very different America tomorrow.

NFL’s first female official debuts in San Diego, CA. Shannon Eastin, 42 years old, former judo champion is the first female professional NFL line judge when the Green Bay Packers play at San Diego in the preseason opener for both teams. She has officiated in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, college football’s second-highest level . Eastin has 16 years of officiating experience.

Due to the strike with officials in the NFL the opening occurred for replacement referees.
