Psalm 146: 6-10

⁶He is the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
he remains faithful forever.
⁷He upholds the cause of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets prisoners free,
⁸ the Lord gives sight to the blind,
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,
the Lord loves the righteous.
⁹The Lord watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

¹⁰The Lord reigns forever,
your God, O Zion, for all generations.

What can man do to me?

¹²I am under vows to you, my God;
I will present my thank offerings to you.

and my feet from stumbling,
that I may walk before God

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

⁹But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. ” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. ¹⁰That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

¹God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
²Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea

Deuteronomy 31:6

⁶Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

2 Timothy 1:7

⁷For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

John 14:27
