The Words of Love with The Lord, Our God.

Dear Lord,

The Father is my hope. The Son is my refuge. The Holy Spirit is my protector. Glory to the holy and undivided Trinity, now and forever. Let us Praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; let us bless and exalt God above all forever! Almighty and everlasting God, to whom we owe the grace of professing the true faith, grant that while acknowledging the glory of the eternal Trinity and adoring its unity, we may through Your majestic power be confirmed in this faith and defended against all adversities; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Inspired By Faith and Grace, The Gifts From God: Ephesians 2:8, Romans 10:17.

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God

Romans 10:17

17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Dear Lord,

Let my faith be free. Let my faith be strong; let it not fear the difficulties, or diseases because the experience of my life is eager for light.

Lord, let my faith be full and unreserved, and let it penetrate my thought, my way of judging Divine things and human things. Lord, let my faith be joyful and give peace and gladness to my spirit, and dispose it for prayer with God and conversation with people so that the inner bliss of its fortunate possession may shine forth in sacred conversation. Lord, let my faith be humble and not presume to be based on experience of my thoughts and of my feelings but let it surrender to the testimony of the Holy Spirit.

Let my faith be strengthened in the intimate proof of Your truth.

In this I pray

Amen

The Spirit Of The Lord: Isaiah 61:1

Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor;[a]
he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;[b]

Christ Notes

The prophets had the Holy Spirit of God at times, teaching them what to say, and causing them to say it; but Christ had the Spirit always, without measure, to qualify him, as man, for the work to which he was appointed.  By the dominion of sin in us, we are bound under the power of Satan; but the Son is ready, by his Spirit, to make us free; and then we shall be free indeed. Sin and Satan were to be destroyed; and Christ triumphed over them on his cross.  Christ was to be a Comforter, and so he is; he is sent to comfort all who mourn, and who seek to him, and not to the world, for comfort. He will do all this for his people, that they may abound in the fruits of righteousness, as the branches of God’s planting. Neither the mercy of God, the atonement of Christ, nor the gospel of grace, profit the self-sufficient and proud. They must be humbled, and led to know their own character and wants, by the Holy Spirit, that they may see and feel their need of the sinner’s Friend and Savior. His doctrine contains glad tidings indeed to those who are humbled before God.

Guardian Angels With The Grace of God: Matthew 18:10.

Matthew 18:10

“Beware that you don’t look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father.

Angels that are swift as wind, rapidly doing Gods will, ministering judgment for God. In this passage, angels are the spirit creatures God sends according to the need of their service.

Angels are subject to the God- man Jesus Christ, not to man. We cannot summon them or order them to do our bidding even if it is something God wants to be done. Only God orders the angels, they are under his jurisdiction and control.

Pentecost Sunday, Acts 2:1-4

The Coming of the Holy Spirit

Pentecost Sunday: Unafraid of the Flame that Does Not Burn

Acts 2:1-4 ESV

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested[a] on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
