Rest in God: Psalm 62: 5-11

Psalm 62: 5-11 ESV

5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
    for my hope is from him.
6 He only is my rock and my salvation,
    my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7 On God rests my salvation and my glory;
    my mighty rock, my refuge is God.

8 Trust in him at all times, O people;
    pour out your heart before him;
    God is a refuge for us. Selah

9 Those of low estate are but a breath;
    those of high estate are a delusion;
in the balances they go up;
    they are together lighter than a breath.
10 Put no trust in extortion;
    set no vain hopes on robbery;
    if riches increase, set not your heart on them.

11 Once God has spoken;
    twice have I heard this:
that power belongs to God,

So very very very true.

10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 11 To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen

Romans 5:2 ESV

2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith,into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Trust God

#faith.

one of my favorite passages. this is why it is so hard for me to "live through the law"

116 I love the Lord, because he has heard
    my voice and my pleas for mercy.
2 Because he inclined his ear to me,
    therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

Lord I bring to You

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.When you begin to doubt GOD, run to Him not away from Him. How else will you discover how much He really loves you?
