The Words of Love with The Lord, Our God.

Dear Lord,

The Father is my hope. The Son is my refuge. The Holy Spirit is my protector. Glory to the holy and undivided Trinity, now and forever. Let us Praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; let us bless and exalt God above all forever! Almighty and everlasting God, to whom we owe the grace of professing the true faith, grant that while acknowledging the glory of the eternal Trinity and adoring its unity, we may through Your majestic power be confirmed in this faith and defended against all adversities; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Inspired By Faith and Grace, The Gifts From God: Ephesians 2:8, Romans 10:17.

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God

Romans 10:17

17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Dear Lord,

Let my faith be free. Let my faith be strong; let it not fear the difficulties, or diseases because the experience of my life is eager for light.

Lord, let my faith be full and unreserved, and let it penetrate my thought, my way of judging Divine things and human things. Lord, let my faith be joyful and give peace and gladness to my spirit, and dispose it for prayer with God and conversation with people so that the inner bliss of its fortunate possession may shine forth in sacred conversation. Lord, let my faith be humble and not presume to be based on experience of my thoughts and of my feelings but let it surrender to the testimony of the Holy Spirit.

Let my faith be strengthened in the intimate proof of Your truth.

In this I pray

Amen

Warriors of Faith: The Three Archangels.

The names of the Three Archangels are Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.
Via Catholic News Agency

Saint Michael is the “Prince of the Heavenly Host,” the leader of all the angels. His name is Hebrew for “Who is like God?” and was the battle cry of the good angels against Lucifer and his followers when they rebelled against God. He is mentioned four times in the Bible, in Daniel 10 and 12, in the letter of Jude, and in Revelation.

Saint Gabriel, whose name means “God’s strength,” is mentioned four times in the Bible. Most significant are Gabriel’s two mentions in the New Testament: to announce the birth of John the Baptist to his father Zacharias, and the at Incarnation of the Word in the womb of Mary.

Saint Raphael, whose name means “God has healed” because of his healing of Tobias’ blindness in the Book of Tobit.  Tobit is the only book in which he is mentioned. His office is generally accepted by tradition to be that of healing and acts of mercy.

To St. Michael:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of Battle; Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke Him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

To St. Gabriel:
Angel of Humanity, trusted messenger of God, open our ears for the quiet warnings and calls of the Most Loving Heart of Jesus. Always be in front of our eyes we beg you, that we may understand the word of God correctly, and that we may follow, obey and fulfill that which God wants of us. Assist us in staying awake so that when the Lord comes to get us he may not find us asleep.

To St. Raphael:
Arrow of Love and Doctor of God’s Love, wound our hearts with burning love, we ask you, and do not let the wound heal so that we may stay on the path of God’s Love everyday, and so that we overcome everything with love that comes from God.

Angels Among God’s Love: Psalm 91:11-12, Matthew 18:10

Psalm 91:11-12

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.

Matthew 18:10

See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Guardian angel,

Watch over those whose names you can read in my heart. Guard over them with every care and make their way easy and their labors fruitful. Dry their tears if they weep; sanctify their joys; raise their courage if they weaken; restore their hope if they lose heart, their health if they be ill,  repentance if they fail.

And you, oh guardian angels of the sick, I ask you especially to help, console and implore the spirits of joy for all those who are deprived of health which is among God’s most precious gifts to man. Intercede for them, that they may not succumb to despondency or lose by impatience the merits they can gain in carrying with resignation and joy the cross which Christ has laid upon them as a special token of his love.
